Shaun IPC gym wrexham

Shaun has been playing rugby since the age of 8. He played for local and regional sides in the North Wales area. At 16 Shaun moved to London to spend two years as an apprentice with the London Wasps Academy. Whilst at Wasps Shaun’s interest in the Strength and Conditioning side of sport grew. After completing his apprenticeship Shaun went travelling spending time in New Zealand playing and coaching rugby, then moving to Scotland for a season and to Chicago where he also played rugby and coached and mentored young rugby players.

Shaun has become a Level 3 Personal Trainer but has a desire to continue to gain new skills by enrolling for courses in Strength and Conditioning and Olympic Lifting. The lifting aspect of training has become Shaun’s favourite part of performance development and he has embraced a variety of techniques, gaining an understanding of all of their benefits.

At IPC Shaun takes the morning conditioning classes. The emphasis of these classes is on a variety disciplines, allowing participants to experience all that IPC has to offer in a shorter timeframe and with a more basic approach to the training techniques offered at the gym.
Shaun’s goals are to continue gaining knowledge and experience in Strength and Conditioning, ultimately owning his own gym based on a the same philosophy and work ethic as IPC.
